A securities class action has been filed against Wise Group plc (“Wise” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: WSE) on behalf of investors who purchased or otherwise acquired the Company’s securities between May 11, 2026 and July 23, 2026, inclusive (the “Class Period”). Wise operates a global money-transfer and multi-currency account platform. The Class Period corresponds to the period surrounding Wise’s dual listing on NASDAQ, which began trading on May 11, 2026 alongside the Company’s existing listing on the London Stock Exchange.

The complaint alleges that, throughout the Class Period, defendants made materially false and misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that the Company had understated the scope of deficiencies in its anti-money-laundering (“AML”) and countering-the-financing-of-terrorism (“CTF”) compliance programs, and the associated regulatory risk, and that, as a result, defendants’ positive statements about the Company’s business, operations, and compliance practices were materially misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis.

On June 1, 2026, Reuters reported that Belgium’s Brussels Public Prosecutor’s Office had opened an investigation into Wise over suspicious transactions totaling approximately $582.5 million. On this news, the price of Wise shares declined from $12.77 to $10.72 over the following three trading sessions, a decline of $2.05 per share, or approximately 16.05%.

On July 24, 2026, the Wall Street Journal reported that the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency had denied Wise’s application for a national trust bank charter, citing “longstanding deficiencies” in the Company’s AML/CTF programs. On this news, the price of Wise shares fell $0.75 per share, or approximately 6.2%, to close at $11.33 per share.
