What we're investigating
Henzel Law is investigating potential securities claims on behalf of shareholders of Suja Life, Inc. ("Suja" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: SUJA), relating to whether the Company's registration statement and related offering documents for its May 2026 initial public offering adequately disclosed the risks to its business, and whether the Company's subsequent public statements about its sales and growth trajectory were materially misleading in light of facts that later emerged. No lawsuit has been filed yet in this matter.
Background
Suja produces and sells cold-pressed juices and other functional beverages sold primarily through the grocery channel. The Company completed its initial public offering on the Nasdaq Global Select Market on May 7, 2026, pricing shares at $21.00 and raising approximately $173.6 million in net proceeds, which it used to repay approximately $141.3 million in debt and to fund roughly $17.5 million in payouts to employees and directors in connection with the offering.
What happened on August 4, 2026
On August 4, 2026, Suja reported its second-quarter 2026 financial results, disclosing net sales of $83.9 million, up 11.6% year-over-year, but cut its full-year 2026 net sales guidance to a range of $360 million to $369 million. On the earnings call, the Company's Chief Executive Officer attributed the lowered outlook to near-term softness concentrated in the grocery channel. Following the announcement, Suja shares fell from a prior close of approximately $11.41 to close at $6.14 on August 5, 2026, a decline of approximately 46.18%, on unusually heavy trading volume.
